Gas tables usually have a handle that you push upwards, this will then lower or heighten the dining table. One advantage to gas lift tables is that only one person is needed.

About Our Adjustable Sofa Sets
Garden sofa sets with adjustable tables are all about combining function and style. These tables can easily be adjusted - meaning you have a coffee table and a dining table in one set. There are two ways to adjust these tables and that is manually or by a piston. Manually adjustable tables require two people to adjust the height, if you do not use two people you risk dropping one side of the table and damaging it. To adjust the tables you will find a gap on two opposite sides of the table base, place your foot in this gap. Then use two hands to adjust the table height, the mechanism will roll in and out of place. Piston operated tables only require one person to adjust the table height. You will find a lever under the table top, pull this lever upwards towards the table top. To lower the table pull the lever and place your hand in the centre of the table and apply pressure. To bring the table back up to dining height just pull the lever upwards. If you're looking for a versatile set then we would recommend an adjustable table set. As previously mentioned you have the benefit of two different table styles in one. Alongside this adjustable sets can be used for dining and lounging. The adjustable table lends itself to both scenarios perfectly. For a more formal dining setting leave the table at its highest setting.
